Structure of Rubber Expansion Joint
1, inner rubber layer –EPDM, ⅡR, CR, NR, NBR
Chloroprene rubber can enhance rubber expansion joint's performances such as the resiliency, compression permanent deformation, electrical property, tear strength, water swelling resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and oil resistance. Hose inner rubber layer is extended to the outer end face of the flange, which helps prevent water leakage or erosion.
2, framework layer - natural rubber & polyester fabric
With its high strength (single tensile strength, over 18N / stripe) and stable hot & cold performance, T39031 polyester fabric (polyester) can afford vacuum and water hammer. Our company took the lead in the introduction of using polyester cord fabric as reinforced framework layer, which closely connect inner rubber layer, outer rubber layer and framework layer. After vulcanization, three layers become a whole. This manufacturing process solves rubber joints' problems such as heat expansion, overall adhesion strength and pressure resistance.
3, outer rubber layer - EPDM, ⅡR, CR, NR, NBR
As the outer rubber layer of flexible rubber joints is exposed to the air, vulnerable to external factors or hurt, which requires outer rubber layer should be heat-resistant, acid-resistant, oil-resistant, ozone-resistant etc.
4, rubber expansion joints' supporting flange, welded flange
We adopt large national steel company's raw materials to manufacture rubber joints' supporting flange, welded flange in Q235, of which chemical composition and mechanical properties are in compliance with GB700-1988 standards.
5, supporting bolts
According to the environment, proper bolt materials should be adopted. Its technical requirements should conform to the provisions of GB8262-97 and mechanical properties should meet GB3098.1-82 standards.
